Summer in Götzens

Summerholiday

A highlight is certainly the summer in Tyrol.

Wonderful lush meadows, green forests, rugged cliffs, romantic lakes, action-packed activities, cultural attractions and pleasant warm temperatures make summer in Tyrol a real event.Especially on hot days, our guests will find pleasure in our mountains and meadows, enjoying perfect temperatures steeped in nature.

The beautiful natural lakes around Innsbruck allow a perfect cool-down after a hard day, and the city of Innsbruck, in good weather as well as on rainy days, offers cultural events and great shopping.

Hiking

The hiking opportunities in our region are extremely diverse and wonderfully combined. Cosy flat dirt roads off our sunny terrace invite pleasant walks. From Götzens you can reach, via well-marked forest paths, a number of traditionally run alpine huts, the Alms, that are absolutely worth a visit.

The walking area around the Axamer Lizum and Mutterer Alm offer a variety of great trails reaching the mountain summit.

Especially for families and guests who want to enjoy the mountain air without much effort, we recommend a ride on the Muttereralmbahn. Here you will find not only an incomparable panorama with a particularly great view of Innsbruck, but also a small lake, cozy picnic areas, adventure tree houses, the Water Trail, an adventure playground and pleasant flat paths to the surrounding Alms, which are reached quickly with an easy scroll.

Alpine school Innsbruck

For our hotel guests, the Innsbruck Alpine School, in collaboration with the Tourism Office for Innsbruck and its holiday villages, offers free guided tours to the most beautiful areas around Innsbruck. There are always two levels offered, so that every guest can take part in the perfect hike. Guests are picked up at our front door and brought back.

Swimming

Take a cooling bath and relax ...

Wildly romantic mountain lakes, natural bog lakes, idyllic locations in Tyrolean nature or perhaps a swimming pool with slides and adventure pool. We offer all of those in the summer. As a bonus, our hotel guests can swim for free at Lansersee all year round, and in the local swimming complex and leisure center in neighboring Axams.

Bike

We are a quality-tested bike & bike accommodation!

A whole network of mountain bike routes of all levels of difficulty including downhill trails can be found in the vicinity of our Alp Art Hotel. We are happy to help you choose the right route. Climbing

Climbing and bouldering in Innsbruck: The Climbers' City offers a variety of climbing activities for all abilities. It takes just a few minutes to get from the city centre to various via ferrata, outdoor climbing parks, climbing centres and much more.

Be it indoors or outdoors, Innsbruck offers climbing fun whatever the weather and throughout the year, for example on the icefalls in the Kühtai – Sellrain Valley region. If ice climbing is too cold for you, the city's climbing halls and indoor bouldering facilities are a great alternative.
