Innsbrucker Bergsilvester

Saturday, December 30th and Sunday, December 31st, 2017

Party in the city, fireworks on the Nordkette: Together, this is the ideal mix for a successful New Year. Already during the day you can agree on the New Year's Eve festivities: Stroll through the streets, enjoy hot chestnuts and get a good luck charm for your loved ones. Later in the day, several events, a party atmosphere and a flamboyant fireworks display await you in the central market square and high up on the Nordkette.

Party in the city center

From 21:00 clock, the city center of Innsbruck becomes a party zone. Live music, culinary delights and a colorful show program make for a colorful bustle on the streets. At midnight the ostrich-waltz "At the beautiful blue Danube" sounds after Austrian tradition. Do not be surprised if waltz is suddenly danced around! This is part of the New Year's Eve celebration. At the same time, the fireworks on the Inn and on the Seegrube conjure up sparkling lights in the night sky.
