Our "home-ski" areas
Our two "home-ski" areas are the Mutterer Alm (a cablecar takes you directly from Götzens to this ski resort) and the Axamer Lizum. Free ski buses commute at short intervals from these resorts to the valley station of the railway Götzner.
The Mutters ski resort is ideal for families, leisure skiers and lovers of long, wide runs. The Axamer Lizum is more varied and hides many wonderful surprises.From the Axamer Lizum our guests can reach the Mutterer Alm and enjoy the 8km descent directly into Götzens.
Twice a week there is also a free ski bus which takes you directly to the Schlick 2000 and the Stubai Glacier. In addition, both the North Park and the Kühtai can be easily reached by public transport.
In order to provide our guests with the utmost comfort, we also have an in-house ski rental. We are happy to meet your individual requirements and equip you with top apparel at the best price! We will gladly assist you with the booking of ski or snowboard lessons and recommend the perfect school for your needs.

Cross-country skiing
Ideal conditions for your cross-country skiing holiday
Directly on our central mountain plateau you can find groomed trails, in good snow conditions, which run for a total of about 28 km. One zone is located in the area Axams - Birgitz (about 7.5 km) and the other zone is the ski area Mutters Natters (approx. 21,5 km). If snow condition is not enough, then you can freely use, several times per week, a cross-country bus to a nearby field dedicated to this wonderful sport.

Miles of well groomed winter hiking trails for all levels can be found starting right outside the front door of our hotel, whether for leisurely strolls or short hikes to mountain pastures. It's something for all ages.

We also have a wide range of leisure activities for non-skiers
In the near vicinity of our house there are plenty of nice sledding trails for all levels. Natural slopes to climb on foot, reached by lift or illuminated at night. Depending on snow conditions, we can recommend the perfect route. Every day there is a free bus taking guests to a wonderful night-lit natural toboggan run in Axams. Our guests can borrow sledding from the hotel.
Trendy sports
Sports such as bobsleigh, alpine tour skiing, shooting, snow shoeing, ice skating... here anything is possible!
You can try a bob run by Stefan Raab on the Olympic track in Igls, enjoy guided ski touring or snowshoeing, ice climbing, curling or ice skating: we like to advise you in these cases and help you with the reservation.
